BASEBlock is the core building component of our practice and our small manufacturing plant produces blocks only for our structures.

BASEBlock is a composite insulated concrete form (ICF) made from 90% post consumer waste.   The blocks are made with local waste materials: expanded polystyrene regrind (Styrofoam),  latex paint, calcium carbon fines which are blended with a small portion of portland cement.  Redesign utilizing geo-polymer concrete will soon eliminate the portland cement content and with it the high carbon emissions and pollution associated with cement production. Additionally, new block geometry will reduce  the grout content by 30%.

BASEBlock is easy to use and requires minimal skills and tooling making perfect for low cost, self-built housing.
